Lower extremities subtly sunned and dinged. In a dust jacket, with several tape repairs to the edges (two of them at the spine ends), and light rubbing to the extremities. From the dust jacket- "In the minds of some people the history of Negro Americans begins with chained men in slave ships and ends with field hands in the South or Pullman porters in the North.
