Illustrations in black and white. Front hinge going; multiple small stains to the fore-edge of the text block (not affecting the pages); small tape stains to the endpapers and flyleaves. In a dust jacket, with small losses from the spine ends, along with a number of small closed tears and chips to the edges and folds. The tears have been backed with roughly a dozen pieces of tape.
