New York: Charles Scribner's Sons, 1935. First edition. Hardcover. 304pp. Duodecimo [19 cm] Brown cloth covered boards with gilt stamped titles on the spine and front cover. Orange topstain. Mild spine roll; neat gift inscription on the front free endpaper. In a dust jacket, with moderate rubbing and creasing to the edges. The rear panel and the flaps are subtly toned, and there are several very minor stains on the rear panel. One can see the faint trace of a numerical notation (in blind) on the front panel. With the typo "rer" for "her" on p. 59. Item #62818
