Doerr spent a decade crafting this work, which is set in occupied France during WWII. His dedication was rewarded, as "All the Light We Cannot See" was a smash success, both commercially and critically. The novel spent 130 weeks on the "New York Times" Best Seller list, and won the 2015 Pulitzer (among other prestigious awards).
