The spine is subtly sunned and the boards are lightly soiled. The cloth at the foot of the spine is a bit frayed. A previous owner's name is stamped in ink (the stamp is very small) on the front free endpaper. No dust jacket. Very Good. Item #64638
One of the hardest to find Stegner titles. Only 2500 were printed, and less than 2000 sold. Colberg states that more than 500 sets of sheets of 'Fire and Ice' were pulped. Early Stegner work that follows the protagonist Paul Condon through his flirtations with communism. Colberg A5.
