Likely sent to a book store to encourage sales for the upcoming publication of "Helping the Dreamer", a collection of her poetry to 1989. Waldman is a member of the "Outrider" community of poets, which is centered around experimental poetry from the Buffalo, NY area. Waldman has worked tangentially with many of the Beat poets and cofounded the Jack Kerouac School of Poetry.
