We will be hosting Jerry D. Spangler and James M. Aton on Friday, March 15. Their new book, The Crimson Cowboys, is based on information gathered by the Claflin Emerson Expedition in 1931--over a thousand pages of documents and over four hundred photographs. A report on these findings was never completed, but Spangler and Aton have compiled the information, and undertaken extensive archaeological fieldwork, to present a narrative which "situates the 1931 survey and its discoveries within the history of American archaeology." Event begins at 7pm.
I'd like to be notified of new arrivals in the following categories.
