Very good condition. The edges of the covers are bumped. The gilt stamped title on the front cover is very heavily rubbed. There are multiple tiny stains on the top and fore edge of the text block. Cancel copyright sticker affixed to the verso of the title page. The pages are mildly browned. No paper dust jacket. Item #27075
Number 46 of 1000 copies. L. W. Currey states that this fantasy by Merritt was completed by Hannes Bok. State A. Illustrated by Hannes Bok. He painted close to 150 covers for numerous science fiction, fantasy, and detective fiction magazines, as well as contributing hundreds of black and white interior illustrations.
