New York: Mitchell Kennerley, 1911. Hardcover. 335pp. Octavo [19 cm] Red cloth covered boards with a gilt stamped title on the spine. Good. The covers are slightly rubbed and sun faded, and the edges of the covers are gently bumped. The underlying boards are peeking through at the corners. The bottom edge of the front board has several small stains. There are numerous light moisture stains, along with a faint moisture ring on the rear board. The edges of the text block are lightly foxed. The cloth at the head of the spine is slightly frayed, and there is a small loss from the cloth at the foot of the spine. The front free endsheet is adhered to the front pastedown along the inside margin. There is a small loss from the paper of the front pastedown. The rear endsheet is cracked along the hinge. The text block is beginning to crack at p. 177. The pages are mildly browned. The pages at the beginning of the book are foxed. Item #27132
