Salt Lake City: Published by the General Board, 1897-1898. Hardcover. 944; 73pp. Very thick octavo [22.5 cm] Black cloth covered boards. Good only. The covers are heavily rubbed and gently bowed. The underlying boards are exposed at the corners. There are numerous small paint stains, along with much lighter stains on the covers. The largest paint stain is at the foot of the spine and measures 1 inch wide by 1/2 cm tall. The cloth of the spine is slightly rippled. The edges of the text block are slightly soiled and have numerous small light stains. The bottom edge of the text block has a large dark scuff mark. The front endsheet is split along the hinge, and the underlying cords are visible. There is a closed tear that runs from the top to the bottom of the front pastedown. The pastedown is also a bit soiled. The rear flyleaves are adhered in the inside margins. The text block is cracked a couple of times. The pages are mildly yellowed. Flake: 4212. Item #27533
