The covers are slightly rubbed and stained. The cloth at the head of the spine is a little frayed. There is a small dark stain on the spine. The edges of the text block are mildly soiled. The front hinge is broken, and the text block is starting to pull away from the spine. The rear endsheet is cracked along the hinge, and there is a 1 and 1/4 inch closed tear in the bottom edge of the rear pastedown. The majority of the frontispiece page has been torn out. May be missing a preceding page as well. Page 16 is just beginning to detach at the head. As is. Item #27894
