Very thick octavo [22.5 cm] 3/4 black leather with black pebbled cloth covered boards, and a gilt stamped title and gilt ruled lines on the spine. The extremities are rubbed. The underlying boards are peeking through at the corners. Very good. There are numerous small losses from the leather at the ends of the spine. The deepest losses measure 1/4 inch deep. The text block is cracked at the beginning. Sporadic marginalia. Tanned pages. There may be very occasional staining on the pages here and there. Item #31957
