The extremities have mild rubbing, soiling and staining. The edges of the wraps are slightly chipped, and there is a small loss from the bottom edge of the rear wrap. The rear wrap has a bookseller's ink stamp. The loss is 1 and 1/2 inches wide by 1/2 of an inch deep. The paper of the spine is torn, and there are losses from the paper at the ends of the spine. The larger loss is at the foot of the spine, and measures 1 inch deep. Browned pages. The top corners of the first couple of pages have been folded over, and the bottom corners of the pages at the end are chipped. The steel engravings are offset on the opposite pages. Item #33621
