The covers have a general layer of light soiling, and there are a couple of moisture stains on the bottom edges of the covers. The larger stain measures 3 and 1/4" wide by 1" tall. There are 1" losses from the ends of the backstrip, and the underlying boards are exposed occasionally along the edges. The front free endpaper has a contemporary gift inscription, and the bottom margins of the pages have very small, light moisture stains, sporadic chips, and minor abraded patches in the paper.
