Circa 1887. Cabinet card [8 1/2" x 5 1/4"] with a black mount. No backstamp. Unknown photographer. An image showing multiple wall tents and a succession of small shelter tents, with several men posing in front of the tents. The edges are abraded, and the left edge of the image is darkened, obscuring the image for about 1/4" of the way in. In contemporary pen, on the reverse, "Camp of Co 'B.' 7th Infantry. Sweeney's Canon, Wyo. June 1887. Officer's wall tents - 'A' [word unknown] and small shelter tents of which each private carried one half." Very good. Item #46427
