Publishers plain cream jacket is present and in very good condition with minor chipping to the corners and a small piece missing from the center of the spine. Item #27970

Warmly inscribed by the author. Inscription reads: "For Ben Abramson - / Who has done so much / to promote unpopular / authors of quality / Vardis Fisher / Hagerman, Ida / Dec 24 - 49." We presume that this is the same Abramson that owned the Argus Book Shop of Chicago. Nice association copy.
