Berlin: Buchergilde Gutenberg, 1931. First edition, first state. Hardcover. 239pp. Octavo [24 cm] Blue-gray cloth over boards with the title stamped in red ink on the front cover and spine. Publisher's orange top stain. Good plus. The spine is sunned, and the cloth on the covers is lightly foxed. There are several prominent stains on the lower edge of the rear board, and there is a thin loss from the cloth at the head of the spine. The underlying boards are just starting to peek through at the gently bumped corners. Internally very good. Hagemann 154, Recknagel 450, Howard 7a, Treverton 577. Item #39663
