Bloomington, IL: Pantagraph Printing and Stationary Co, [1901]. First edition. Hardcover. 174; 168; xvi; 268pp. Octavo [22.5 cm] Olive green cloth over boards with a gilt stamped title on the backstrip, and blind stamped decorative borders on the covers. Good. Ex-library (legitimately discarded). The extremities are mildly rubbed and bumped. The rear endsheet is split along the hinge, and there are several cracks in the front endsheet along the hinge. One of these cracks has been dabbed with a bit of glue. In addition, the front endsheet has a previous owner's embossed stamp, and a library label. There are a couple of library stamps on the preliminary pages, and the fore edges of these pages are a bit chipped. The pages are tanned, and a handful of pages have small, light stains. Item #40825
