Loose cut page extracted from "The Works of John Held Jr." A humorous depiction of New York which highlights things such as "Policeman watching for prohibition agents" and "A murdered broadway butterfly." The scale is given in musical notes, "Doe Ray Me..." Item #57480

The Utah artist, John Held Jr., was one of the best known magazine illustrators of the 1920s, and his designs for F. Scott Fitzgerald jackets became icons of the Jazz Age.
