On page 99, line 21, the word "least" is missing. Bookplate on front pastedown. In the dust jacket, with with wear and chipping to top edge, and a 3" closed tear to the bottom edge. There is a large moisture stain on the rear panel of the dust jacket that affects the rear cover of the book. Good / good. Item #62794

Jeffers achieved his greatest public acclaim in 1947 when this adaptation of Euripides’s Medea opened on Broadway, with Dame Judith Anderson playing the leading role. It was a major success and is still considered a mainstay of theatrical troupes.
