Contains the following short pieces of correspondence signed by Bradbury (6 in Ray Bradbury's custom-printed envelopes, plus one extra envelope):

Typed note, dated "May 27, 1980." In closing, he types: "Forgive this senile Martian! Yours, (signed) Ray B."

Typed note, dated "December, 1985." A holiday greeting.

Note typed on an 8 1/2 x 11" sheet of paper with a reproduced illustration taking up most of the page. The note is with regards to some books that Eddington has sent Bradbury to sign. Envelope postmarked January, 1986.

Note typed on Ray Bradbury Enterprises letterhead. Dated "11/19/86." Bradbury lists several of his works which are available as audio.

Note typed on an 8 1/2 x 11" sheet with an illustrated letterhead. Bradbury offer his condolences on the passing of Eddington's father

Note on an 8 1/2 x 11" sheet of paper with a Xeroxed photo of Bradbury's cat sent on Halloween. Bradbury thanks Eddington for his latest illustrated cat poem. Item #63679

Signed notes from one of America's most celebrated 20th-century writers, known for his intensely imaginative short stories and novels, among which is his best-known work, Fahrenheit 451. Bradbury received many honors for his work, including an Emmy for his animated adaptation of The Halloween Tree (1994). In 2007, he was awarded a Special Citation by the Pulitzer Prize Board for his distinguished career,

The recipient, Patrick Eddington (aka “Pat the Cat”), was a Utah artist and former high school art teacher, who spent over two decades corresponding with numerous artists and authors.

Bradbury and Eddington collaborated on four broadsides- My Cat has Swallowed a Bumblebee, With Cat For Comforter, Their Engines Drive Softly, and Once the Years Were Numerous and the Funerals Few.
