The spine and hinges are darkened, the underlying boards peeking through at the corners of the covers, and the front hinge is a trifle soft (the text block remains very sturdy). There is a contemporary gift inscription on the front free endpaper, and there is a bookseller's tiny ticket on the rear pastedown. Very Good. Item #67202
