Keppler's most important astronomical works. "Epitome of Copernican Astronomy," in dialogue form, was a textbook of Copernican science, noteworthy for the prominence allotted to "physical astronomy" and for the extension to the Jovian system of the laws recently discovered to regulate planetary motion. "Harmonies of the World" expounded an intricate system of celestial harmonies depending on the various and varying velocities of the several planets.
