These include relevant documenrts and paintings in full-color. Dressendorfer describes medicinal properties with Fuch's corresponding illustrations. The illustrations are printed on full-pages in the second volume with essays in German by Leonhart Fuchs. Leonhart Fuch's illustrations and work proved the importance of high-quality detailed illustrations for plant identification.
