Major-General John Frederick Charles Fuller (1878-1966) was a British army officer and military historian who became one of the founders of modern armored warfare. Fuller met Aleister Crowley after winning a contest that the latter had sponsored for someone to write a critical summary of the Crowley's literary output to that date. The result was Fuller's "The Star in the West," a volume which highly praised Crowley's mystical perception.
