Alexandra Kollontai/Kollontay (1872–1952) was an influential member of the Bolshevik Party that held several positions within the Soviet system throughout her life. Indeed, she was amongst a very select few who remained involved in the Soviet halls of power from the earliest revolutionary times through to the latter Stalinist years.
