Else, the pages are free of markings. This copy is from the personal library of Kent Walgren, Mormon scholar, bookseller, and author of the definitive bibliography of freemasonry, with his brief markings in pencil on the front free endpaper. Albert Pike was a key figure in the development of Masonry in Arkansas, and went on to become a national figure of the organization. His celebrated work "Morals and Dogma," originally published in 1871, is still in print today.
