Black striated leather boards with gilt ruled borders on the spine and boards (some gilt rubbed off). Reinforced hinges. New rear free endpaper. Neat tissue repairs to front free endpaper, rear flyleaves, half title page, and to top fore-edge corner of p. 295/6. Much more significant repair to open tear in the center of p. 303/4, with some text completely obscured. Tiny open tear to bottom margin of p. 205/6. A dozen and a half or so pages with very minor stains. Large areas of darkening on pp. 244-245, the result of paper having been laid in. Complete. Very Good Minus. Item #70327
