Full black leather with raised bands, a gilt stamped title on the spine, and gilt stamped ornamentation on the spine and covers. Floral endpapers. All edges gilt. Rebacked, with the original spine laid over. The leather is a bit rubbed, and the corners are bumped. Both hinges are secured with a thick piece of tape. Multiple ownership marks on endsheets, with one each on page preceeding half-title and fore-edge of textblock. Textblock heavily cracked between the verso of the title page and "The Testimony of Three Witnesses," with adhesive residue along the gutter of all preceding pages. Leaf bearing pages 15/16 supplied from another copy, else complete. Good +. Item #70332
