In the printed dust jacket, with fading to the spine and the surrounding areas of the panels (title still sharp), sporadic shallow chips to the edges and folds, and 5 small tape repairs to the reverse. American poet, novelist, and publisher Haniel Long (1888-1956) helped found Writers' Editions. "Interlinear to Cabeza de Vaca" is his best known work. This copy is inscribed by the author, in the year of publication, to prominent poet of the American west Margaret Hallett Pond (Pseudonym: Peggy Pond Church) on the front flyleaf.
