A scarce, locally produced World War II mobilization document printed at Camp Kearns, Utah. This booklet outlines the organization of the base’s Red Cross Auxiliary and issues an urgent appeal for local women to volunteer for wartime service duties with the Red Cross. Distinguished by its high production values and two striking, full-page internal display pieces:

-"War Commandments" by Gill Robb Wilson (President of the National Aeronautic Association), a ten-point illustrated guide to wartime civic discipline and security (e.g. "1. Thou Shalt Keep Thy Mouth Shut!" and "4. Thou Shalt Not Hoard; Only the squirrel hoardeth and this he doeth because he is squirrely." and "6. Thou Shalt Walk; Even thus shalt thou aid to save gas and rubber; thus shalt thou redeem the price of thy girdle and thy doctors bill and thy very hide."). At the bottom of the sheet, credit is given to Sgt. Land Armstrong and Pvt. Tom Drew of Kearns, Utah.

-"The Kearns' Creed," a declaration of principles pledged by the officers of Basic Training Center No. 5 which ends with the statement "To us has been given these sacred trusts. We have accepted them, we will keep the faith." The header features a large graphic of a four-engine military bomber. This piece is credited to PFC. W. W. Wright, B.T.C. No. 5 AAFTTC at the bottom of the text. An additional credit at the far bottom left to Pvt. E. H. Chan.
