Ephemera. - TLS on the author's letterhead, dated November 9, 1978, in which Seuss politely turns down an interview, along with Eddington's request for a commissioned drawing. He does include a publisher's promotional photograph and sheet of biographical data. All enclosed in a light blue envelope bearing Seuss' name and address.

- TLS on the author's letterhead, dated January 28, 1978. Seuss gives permission for Eddington to use his work in a traveling exhibit, instructing him to reach out to UCLA. He kindly informs Eddington that direct purchase of original drawings and paintings would be impossible, as he has pledged all past and future artwork to existing college and foundation collections.
