Utah Stories published an extremely interesting article about the development boom that has happened in the past few years.
Ken Sanders spoke with them in regards to being pushed from our home of 24 years due to developer pressure. The bookstore's experience was a prime example of the impact of the encroaching developer industry on local businesses.
"Ken Sanders’ words highlight the need for development that benefits all community members, ensuring that Salt Lake City’s growth is inclusive and sustainable. Quoting Edward Abbey, he said, “Growth for the sake of growth is the ideology of the cancer cell.”"
